Foodie Friday: Boiling Tip

I was cooking soba (Japanese buckwheat noodles) when I remembered a simple tip to stop a pot from boiling over.

Simply put a chopstick across the top of the pot. I assume you can use any long wooden utensil, like a wooden spoon. Don't use a metallic utensil, though, as it will get really hot.
