Guinea Pig Monday: un bonbon sale par terre

I recently discovered un bonbon sale par terre, a French artist specialising in small animals, including guinea pigs. Agnès, who is behind un bonbon sale, has a unique drawing style and a great sense of humour. She also has an active facebook page that's fun to follow.

My favourite pieces are the cartoons, which I find accurate and hillarious. Here are three of my favourites:

Last week, I caved in and bought myself a "guinea pigs on board" car sticker:

The sticker arrived within days and I am very happy. I'll post a pic of my car window soon ;)

Luxury Lust - Cartier Gemstone Mosaic Watch

So beautiful!

Cartier revives the tradition of gemstone mosaic in a meticulously crafted piece contained within the immensely tiny dimensions of a dial. This year, two mosaic techniques complement one another beautifully: the base of the dial is composed of tiny miniature squares, while the horse motif is rendered by a swarm of irregular-shaped tesserae.

Artwork on Etsy - Animal Paintings

When I'm stressed, I like to go on Etsy and browse through animal paintings. There's so much cuteness there that one can't help but smile :)
